Can temple points actually be restored to look natural or do most of them look fake?

Looking at a lot of results and the temple points are the part that either makes the hairline look real or completely off. Some clinics say they can rebuild them properly, others basically avoid them or keep them very soft.

Is it realistic to get temple points that hold up under normal lighting and close inspection, or do most attempts end up looking too sharp or too low once everything grows in? Trying to understand what actually works before I start asking clinics about it.

temple points are one of the harder parts to get right. most places that do them well keep them soft and irregular instead of sharp lines. if they go too low or too defined it usually looks off once the hair grows especially under bright light. a lot of the better results just blend them gently rather than trying to recreate a perfect point

Natural temple points are usually softer than people expect. The ones that look best in person tend to have a gradual transition instead of a hard angle. Going too aggressive with them is what makes a lot of results look artificial later. Most experienced surgeons stay conservative there unless the patient specifically wants a stronger look and understands the tradeoffs.
